Thank You~

This will be my very last post here at www.ScrappyChick101.blogspot.ca and I thought I would use that last post to share some more very exciting news!

As some of you out there already know, I love to write and draw. This often plays a part in my papercrafting world. I fell in love with drawing and playing with my own writing from so early on I cannot even remember.
So when I was asked to be a Tombow Brand Ambassador, well I couldn't pass that up!
So in my future posts (on my new blog), you will be seeing a lot more in the writing and doodling department. So stay tuned for those tutorials, exploring new products and techniques! I am so excited to be able to share that part of me, with you.

With that said, I would like to send out a huge THANK YOU to all of you that follow religiously with what I'm doing in my crafty life, and to those that pop by from time to time.
It's every time you stop by the blog, every "Like", every "Tweet", every "Share" and every comment that keeps me doing what I love to do.
I love creating, I love sharing and I love teaching others to love this crazy crafty life. I would so LOVE for you to continue following and crafting along with me at my new bloggy home.

So PLEASE, find me there and follow!

As always, Thank You for stopping by!

Shine Bright & Gramercy Road~

Hey, thanks for stopping by!
Today I am sharing 2 layouts that I had created almost a couple of months ago.

The first layout features a photo from last year. Our amazingly talented Margaret and her tuba at her final band concert of the year at her junior high school.

This layout features a great collection of patterned papers and embellishments, the Shine Bright Collection from Kaisercraft.
Nothing shines brighter than a tuba in a photo :)

My second layout features a photo that makes me smile.
The memories of being together with family that I adore. We attended a wedding in my "summer home town" of Smiths Falls, Ontario. The photo is of my hubby Sean, beautiful Zoe and my fabulous cousin Teresa that I don't get to see often enough...but miss her great sense of humour!

This layout is created using patterned papers and embellishments from Gossamer Blue, the Gramercy Road collection.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Autumn Leaves~

Today I am doing a quick share of a layout that I created for a recent class here in Truro.
I created the layout using patterned paper and embellishments from the Reflections Fall collection from Echo Park.
I love the classic fall tones in this collection, making it easy to coordinate with so many of your autumn photos. I chose to work with this little cutie! Photos that were taken just this past Thanksgiving weekend.

I cut the leaves by hand from 2" strips of patterned papers.

By using pop dots on some of the leaves, it adds so much pretty dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by to check out my Autumn Leaves layout.

My Creative Scrapbook: December Sketch Reveal~

PhotoPlay- Dear Santa Patterned Paper
Echo Park- The Story of Christmas Patterned Paper

 Ribbon

Here is the sketch that my layout was based on.

I used Ivory Burlap String from May Arts Ribbon to hang the tags to create a banner.

A throwback to Christmas 1984. My brother and I in front of the Christmas tree with our favourite toys. I spy my Care Bear and Tom has his Star Wars toy.
