This simple frame was purchased from Michaels, I dare say over 2 years ago. Today I finally did something with it. Here's the finished product.

Altered Canvas Creation
I've been wanting to do this for a while now. I took a Dollar Store canvas (12x18) and created an oversized scrapbook layout with one of my favourite photos of the girls that Babineau Photography took.
I love it!

A Few of My Latest....
Over the summer I don't seem to make as much time to scrapbook for myself. Now that it is officially autumn, I have gotten back at it. Here are a few of my latest scrapbook layouts.

Autumn is My Favorite Time of Year
I love evenings with chill in the air, the smell, the colors and everything else that autumn brings. I was excited to create a new wreath for the front door.
I tried something a little different. Large wreath forms can be pricey, so I found an alternative. I went to the hardware store and bought 2 pieces of foam that is normally used for plumbing. Because I like a thicker form I did 2 round layers. Connecting them with duct tape of course!

Then patiently I wrapped the entire thing in yarn. Added my felt flowers and ribbon....and taaadaaaa!

Mint Chocolate Goodness
I tried this very easy recipe that I found on www.pinterest.com and they turned out great!! So I thought I would share the recipe.
Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 Pkg Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix
1/2 Cup Butter
1/4 tsp Mint Extract
1 Egg
3/4 Cup Mint Chocolate Chips
3/4 Cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
***You could add some green food colouring to the mixture if you'd like. I opted not to.
Preheat Oven to 350
Roll mixture into balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes
