Today's crafty gift idea for that special someone is a simple altered frame.
This was a plain wooden frame that I picked up from my local dollar store, nothing fancy....just a pine frame. I started by painting the frame using a mix of DecoArt's Dazzling Metallics (Festive Red) paint and a Multi Surface brown paint.
Once dry, I could start added the paper pieces and embellishments from this year's My Mind's Eye Valentine Collection. You can find them at The Cutting Garden.
I created a lace flower with a vintage button in the middle.
The other buttons are from Buttons Galore & More.
