I spent a couple of hours at a day long crop over the weekend. These are a couple of the layouts I created using a kit of papers that I received from ScrapShotz.
They are not colours I would have normally picked out myself, but that is one of the reasons I am liking getting monthly kits. I love how the layouts turned out!

I am gonna mention here because you didn't - the first was done for a sketch challenge - and of course, Tracy won hands down! Her take on the sketch has such a great use of texture and she definitely took the sketch to a new level..
Personally, my favorite page that she created that day though is the second one here - I love, love, love "the first day of school" ;) I am a sucker for yellow and in this page, I truly believe you've only brought out the loveliness of a black and white print by using this color scheme.
