I shared this Spring how I was so honoured and excited to be able to vie for the Cover of Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine. In the Spring issue I was featured as one of the "Other Takes on the Cover".
Well I am over the moon ecstatic to tell you that I made the Cover of the Summer issue!!
Much like last time, I was chosen to vie for the cover. I was sent the image of the little girl in the beautiful dress, and I took it from there.
The colours were so bright and brilliant I didn't want to fight it. I played up those colours with my patterns and embellishments.
Everything from the black tulle, pink satin and pink burlap string from May Arts Ribbon.
To the patterned papers from Echo Park and Pebbles Inc.
I added chipboard frames and rub ons from Crate Paper and that beautiful flower from Prima Marketing.
A few buttons, enamel dots and cardstock, and there you have it!
I have a doily addiction. I love to dip dye them, to have on hand for occasions like this.
I love to share what I LOVE to do. I would like to thank everyone for every "Like", comment, "Pin" or "Share". It means the world to me.
congrats!
