These are 2 photos that I adore. They bring a smile to my face when I think about that moment in time. It was a beautiful day, the day of my brother and sister-in-law's wedding. After eating a fabulous meal, and feeling oh so full...we went for a little walk outside at dusk.
Just happens that there was a geocache near by, so we decided to try and go get it!
Crawling through a fence gate, and rolling on the ground....Margaret was able to make the grab, while we watched from the other side of the fence.
My family makes me smile, laugh and cherish these moments.
I wanted to create a layout as pretty as my memory.
I created this layout using the Maggie Holmes, Open Book collection from Crate Paper. The flowers are from Petaloo, and Prima. The dyed doily and polka dot embossed tag are from the Curtsey Boutique.
That wide shimmery ribbon is from May Arts Ribbon, and is the perfect accent for that tag.
I also had a package of coordinating chipboard frames that I used to not only frame the smaller photo, but also to create a layered border. I framed pieces of the coordinating patterns from the collection.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing in one of my favourite memories.
Very pretty layout. I always enjoy seeing how other people put together their photos and their embellishments. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful LO and I love the story that goes with it. :) Family adventures always make the best inspiration. The ribbons and flowers are such pretty accents. Thank you for sharing the LO and the smile! :)
