Stacking Pumpkin Boxes~

 This project started with 3 plain wooden stacking boxes. With some paint, ink, pretty fall papers and of course pretty buttons from Buttons Galore & More, it became these stacking Pumpkin Boxes.

This is my first layout that I created using my November Kit from Down a Dirt Road Scrapbooking.

The patterned papers from this kit are all from the Happy Harvest Collection by Doodlebug Designs.

The fun patterns and stunningly vibrant colors really pop!

I used a great collection of buttons from Buttons Galore & More called Harvest Button Bonanza, to create the fun and bright button border.

Challenge #67: Stick It~

It's that time again at Use It Tuesday, challenge time!

This week the challenge is "Stick It". So I went upstairs to my stash of scrap goodies and looked around for a while.

I came across this paper and sticker kit that I had won as a door prize at a crop about 5 years ago. It's about time I did something with it.

At least this time, the stickers were still sticky!

The purple buttons became the perfect simple embellishment, from Buttons Galore & More.

Cutting Garden Crop Reveal #1~

This past weekend I was at a fabulous crop held in New Glasgow hosted by The Cutting Garden.

Kim and the lady bugs put on a fun, laughter filled and organized crop.

During the crop I was able to be fairly productive between classes and chatting with friends new and old.

I will be revealing my creations from the weekend all week long. I am starting with a layout that I created as a part of Kim's crop challenge. Everyone was provided with the same 2 patterns and 2 sheets of cardstock. To be entered in a draw you were to create something, anything using those 4 sheets of paper.

Quilted Puppy~

This pretty pooch inspires me everyday. But it was the fantastic vintage embellishment that inspired me to use this photo of Kya on the layout.

This is another layout that I created using my October kit from Down a Dirt Road Scrapbooking.

The patterned papers are by We R Memory Keepers, the Country Livin' Collection.

Buttons and flowers go together like PB & J.

I cut all the patterned papers into small triangular pieces to create this quilt like pattern.
